And yes, I am a little geeky in some of my tastes. No apologies!!
More Vids will follow!!!

Here's what REALLY happened to Severus Snape after the Last Battle:
Harry, Ron and Hermione spread the rumor that the Spy & Potionsmaster
had been killed by Voldemort's Snake-Familiar.
But in truth, Snape left for Denmark with a Portkey and started a new life as
the Singer of a Popband. Here's the proof!!

Cruachan- Brian Boru

Found some interesting commentary with this vid. Have a look:
glasgowscottish:
I have heard somwhere Brian Boru called himself King of the Scots or scotti
or something, can anyone shed light on this for me please?
Ratmilk1:
The term Scotti refers to a northern Irish tribe.
These irish began to raid and colonize what is now scotland.
The Scots actually derived their name from them after the late romans used the term
to apply to both pictish people(The earlier natives of what is now scotland) and
these Irish colonists. The native ancient irish referred to them as Cruithne.
Modern Scottish people are a mingling of Picts and these Irish Celts.

Some of you might know this song better in the original version,
called "Twa Corbies", a scottish 13th century ballad.
Here is the german version by goth-rock-band Schelmish.
I think the video is way cool, even tho the german text is, as the english version
a bit more... gentle than the scots text.

In the scots lyrics it's implied that the lady had a hand in the death of her man
and for a reason:
His Liedy's taen anither mate!
In the english and german version, she dies herself of a broken heart

caused by grief....

Here is my fav version of the Twa Corbies, in the scots dialect, sung by John Fleagle.
My personal and very own opinion is, this is the best version.
But google videos or MP3's to find your favorite. And don't forget to share.

And Yes, another recording of the Twa Corbies, absolutely love that song.
This is Jesse Ferguson, The Bard of Cornwall.
He lives in the town of Cornwall, Ontario, Canada, hence the name.
Jesse is of Scottish-French descent.
He has two CD's out that are available on cdbaby.com.
Links in the linksection, when I get around to it....

And another new favorite of mine is
Ye Jacobites by Name, written by Scotlands beloved National Poet Robert Burns.
Sung by Jesse Ferguson in his wife's kitchen....

Ye Jacobites by Name
